Pain...
Insufferable and unceasing pain
The force constantly and rhythmically pounded upon her body almost shattered her but the sense of pleasure seeped out from down below eased this somehow... Slowly but surely, the pain died away and the unspeakable sensation, once buried deep down in her, made itself known and evident.
All the cells in his body were screaming a shrilling voice...
Unconsciously, she stretched out her hand and wrapped them around the cold but strong figure above her.
......
The dream, at least that was the way Evelyn Blackwater believed it to be, contained to many details to be just a dream. The devastating pain spread to every limb of her body served also as a remonstrance to her wishful thinking that it was merely a haunting nightmare.
It might've been an hour, a day, or a month, she didn't know and couldn't possibly find out. Propping
In the air still lingered the faint scent of post-coital ambiguity
It was evident that wild passion once erupted here.
"What on earth...?" Li Evelyn steadied her groggy head, taking in the scene before her.
"It really was NOT a dream..."
Could she really have been with another man...?
She sifted through her chaotic mind, but before she could grasp any memory, the lounge door burst open. Her stepmother Marina Blackwater and stepsister Alexandra Blackwater barged in with a swarm of reporters.
"For the love of Jesus, Evelyn, what have you done?!" Marina gasped, seeing the disheveled clothes strewn about. "You have got to be kidding me! Do you realize what tomorrow is about? It's your wedding day... And you are here doing what? Decided to cheat a little as the dessert for your bachelor party?"
"Not in a million years could I have imagined that you'd stoop so low... You are a disgrace to the Blackwater family! To your fiance!" Alex, throwing on a pretence of shock, screamed.
Reporters surged forward from behind them, snapping photos relentlessly at the bedridden Evelyn.
In a daze, Evelyn scrambled to shield her face and body with the sheets, screaming helplessly, "Get the hell out!"
It all came back to her then—it was her wedding day with Keenan Brook and the wedding was supposed to take place at 3 that afternoon. Marina said that she would like to take her out for skincare so she'd look better in her wedding dress.
After the skincare, she took a sip from a glass of water and, not entirely voluntarily, dozed off, before she was engulfed by the infernal nightmare...
Well, at this point, it was clear enough to even the thickest buffoon that it was not a nightmare.
Looking at the traces of her body below the sheets, Evelyn had a rough idea of what had happened. Marina was just pretending to be nice to her. Every effort she had ever made after marrying into the Blackwater family with her two daughters was made to rid of her, Evelyn.
Desperately covering herself with the sheets, tears welled up in Evelyn's eyes. "I'll call the cops if you don't get the hell out this instant!"
Seeing that the goons with cameras have fulfilled their duties, Marina called them off with a pretence of wrath, "Enough is enough! This is a family business. Away with all of you! Out!"
"Mrs. Blackwater, will the wedding between Ms. Blackwater and Mr. Brook proceed as scheduled?" one of the reporters, on his way of being pushed out, shouted out a question.
"What? You expect Keenan Brook to marry her after what she has just done?" Alex snorted through her gritted teeth.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please, clear the room for now. We will provide you with an aboveboard answer on whatever's happened. But please give us some room to work it out as a family." Marina, with a meticulously fabricated smile worn over her face, asked again for the reporters to leave the room.
Thinking of the glass of water she drank before she passed out, Evelyn stared at Marina with tears in her eyes. "It was you... You put something in my water! You were the one that brought me here in the first place..."
Once the reporters exited, Marina reverted to her true self, lounging at the bedside with a cold smirk.
"Boohoo, fate fails me so. Yeah, it was me. For Christ's sake, who else did you expect it to be? Or did you think I was gonna give you a pat on the back for your wedding? Please do not tell me that you took the show I put on for your father for real. That would make you even a greater fool than what I take you for."
"You piece of trash... How the hell dare you do this to me? Do you know how much my father trusts you?"
Tears streamed down Li Evelyn's cheeks as she realized her stepmother had plotted against her on her wedding day.
"Long before your tramp of a mother threw herself on your father had I known him! If it wasn't for her so-called talent for business, I should've been the one and only Mrs. Blackwater!" Marina snarled, her nostrils flaring, as if Evelyn's mother were right there and then.
"Now that your mother's kicked the bucket, f*cking finally, do you really think I was going to let you stand in the way between my own daughters and the wealth of the Blackwater family?"
